'STEELSTAX COMMUNITY PROJECT' CONCEPTS | BETHLEHEM, PA
(Designed while at Spagnola & Associates)

Kostow Greenwood Architects asked Spagnola & Associates to develop concepts for an 80ft. donor and media wall for the SteelStax Artsquest new performing arts center. The new center, a renovated steel mill, houses the local PBS station, a large performance theater, and fine arts studios. Kostow was looking for a bold statement for the industrial style space. One concept uses scrolling LED's and large frameless monitors to let visitors know the center's event schedule while thanking the center's many donors and focusing on the community that built SteelStax. A second concept creates a horizontal texture across the wall, lightboxes recessed into the texture highlight the variety of arts at the center. Monitors scroll donor names floor to ceiling.
